Insulation Configuration

Insulation Layer
The valve uses an insulation layer to help maintain fluid temperature under high- or low-temperature conditions. This configuration is intended for process media whose viscosity or physical state is affected by temperature.

Temperature-Sensitive Media
The insulated configuration is suitable for viscous or temperature-sensitive fluids where maintaining the process temperature helps preserve flow characteristics during valve operation.

Configurable Insulation
The insulation layer and valve configuration can be tailored according to the temperature requirements of the process medium. Material selection and other valve parameters can be confirmed together with the service conditions before production.

Lifting Plug Operation

Lift Before Rotation
The plug lifts 3–5 mm away from the sealing surface before turning. This separates the sealing surfaces during rotation and reduces direct sliding contact.

Reduced Operating Friction
The lifting sequence reduces contact between the plug and sealing surface during rotation, helping reduce operating torque and wear.

Reseat After Rotation
After the plug reaches the required flow position, the operating mechanism lowers it back onto the sealing surface for shutoff.

Applications

Chemical Processing
The valve is used for corrosive and temperature-sensitive fluids where the process medium requires temperature maintenance.

Refining
It handles high-temperature oils and hydrocarbons in refinery piping systems.

Food Processing
The valve can be configured for viscous or temperature-sensitive ingredients.

Asphalt Lines
The insulated configuration is used for sticky or semi-solid fluids such as asphalt.

Power Plants
The valve is used for heating and cooling fluid systems where temperature-sensitive flow conditions need to be maintained.

Quality Control

Material Verification
Body, plug and sealing materials are checked against the specified configuration and service requirements.

Dimensional Inspection
Valve dimensions and connection dimensions are checked against the specified requirements before final assembly.

Pressure Testing
Pressure resistance and sealing performance are verified according to the applicable API 598 or API 6D requirements.

Functional Inspection
Plug lifting, rotation and operating mechanisms are checked after assembly.

Final Inspection
The completed valve is checked for configuration, marking, operation and connection details before shipment.
