Material Configuration: The ductile iron designation applies to the valve body. Plug material is specified separately according to the valve configuration.
Construction & Sealing
Ductile Iron Body
The ductile iron body forms the pressure-containing structure of the DI-body valve configuration. The applicable pressure class and flange configuration are specified separately according to the ordered valve design.
Sleeve-Isolated Plug
A polymer sleeve surrounds the plug and separates the plug surface from direct contact with the valve body during rotation. Sleeve material is selected according to the required service temperature and medium compatibility.
Rotating Plug and Stem
The plug rotates to open or close the flow passage, while the stem transfers operating input from the selected manual mechanism or actuator to the plug.
Sleeve Material Selection
PTFE Sleeve: Service temperature up to 120°C.
RPTFE Sleeve: Service temperature up to 180°C.
PPL Sleeve: Service temperature up to 260°C.
Sleeve temperature limits refer to the sleeve material itself. The allowable operating pressure and temperature of the complete DI-body valve must be confirmed for the specific valve configuration and service conditions.
Configuration & Procurement
Operating Configuration: Wrench wheel, worm & worm gear, pneumatic and electric actuation are available. Actuator selection is based on valve size, operating torque and project control requirements.
Flange & Drawing Configuration: Flange dimensions and face-to-face dimensions can be confirmed according to the specified valve configuration. GA and dimensional drawings can be provided for review before production when required.
Spare Parts: Spare parts can be supplied separately according to the valve model, configuration and replacement requirements.
Applications
Municipal Water Distribution
Isolation of valves in municipal water distribution and community pipeline networks.
Agricultural Irrigation
Shut-off service for irrigation lines and agricultural water-conveyance systems.
Fire-Water Pipelines
Pipeline isolation in dedicated fire-water distribution and fire protection systems.
Light Industrial Service
Flow isolation for compatible non-aggressive fluids in general industrial pipeline systems.

Quality Control & Testing
Body Pressure Test
Hydrostatic shell testing is performed according to the applicable API 598 / API 6D requirements for the ordered valve configuration.
Seat Leakage Test
The sealing interface is pressure tested according to the applicable API 598 / API 6D acceptance requirements for the ordered valve configuration.
Visual & Dimensional Inspection
Valve dimensions, flange interfaces, face-to-face dimensions, operating configuration and visible workmanship are checked against the approved specification or drawing.
Final Inspection
Test records and valve configuration details are reviewed before the finished valve is released for packing and shipment.

FAQ
Q: What is the MOQ?
A: MOQ depends on valve size, pressure class, sleeve material, operating configuration and order quantity. Single-unit orders can be discussed for standard or replacement requirements.
Q: What is the typical lead time?
A: Standard orders commonly require 4–8 weeks, while special configurations or drawing approval may require additional time.
Q: What information is required for quotation?
A: Please provide valve size, pressure class, sleeve material, service medium, operating temperature, flange standard and operating method. A project specification or drawing can also be supplied when available.
Q: Can drawings be provided for approval?
A: Yes. GA and dimensional drawings can be provided for technical review and confirmation before production when required.
Q: What information is required for actuator selection?
A: Actuator selection should consider valve size, pressure class, operating torque, operating medium and the required pneumatic or electrical control configuration.
Q: Can spare parts be supplied separately?
A: Yes. Spare parts can be supplied according to the valve model, configuration and replacement requirements.
Q: Can export packaging and shipping requirements be specified?
A: Yes. Packaging, marking and shipping requirements can be confirmed before order release.
